Diskspace: Lots of threads or is it DB? Delete which?

    Hi,
I'm pretty low on server space. I have deleted many threads.(Generally older than 150 days in 3 forums). However when i check my server space is still same. No changes.

Would deleting plenty of threads free up diskspace? Or is it the database search i have to reindex to shrink it?

At a lost here. Any advise would be appreciated.

You won't save much by removing threads.

First try running repair/optimize. Then if you still have issues the biggest way to reduce space is to start removing attachments and/or disabling search and emptying the postindex and word tables.
