Importing from DC Forum

I'm trying to import from an old DC Forums install. Following directions, I've installed vB2 and obtained the vB2 importers. vB2 installed smoothly and I went to import from DC Forums. Once imported into vB2, I'll upgrade vB2 to vB3.64 as instructed.

I was able to import all the forum users, moderators and the forums correctly, but no forum threads.

I tried to run the import again, this time checking yes at - "Would you like to pause the import after each page so you can edit individual threads?"

Error message is:

Locating DCForumID5/database.txt file .... not found. No threads to import.

The error message does not explicitly state the full path it is looking for but I assume it is the DCForum Main Site path that is specified in the importer config.

The database.txt files do exist.

The paths are:

path to User_info /home/user_dir/forum/dcforum/User_info
path to main /home/user_dir/forum/WWW

Inside WWW are:
/DCForumID5
/DCForumID6
/DCForumID7
/DCForumID8
/DCForumID9

Within each DCForumID# directory is a file named database.txt

I have changed permissions on the database.txt file to 775 to no effect.

Anyone have suggestions on how to make the database.txt file visible to the importer?

I just need the actual threads/postings. Everything else has imported correctly. Can anyone help?
