Hi. Where should I point my browser to install vBulletin 2? http://www.domain.com/index.php does just give a mysql error.

Alright. Was much easier to install vBulletin 2 than vBulletin 3 except that the install is in the admin directory.

How do you figure? If you mean less clicking, then possibly.

Yes, less logical. It would be more logical with domain.com/install (index.php/html) instead of install.php, and also it would even easier if the install started when you went to domain.com. Well you can figure it out that it is in the admin directory, but it is confusing.

You wouldn't want someone to try to install automaticly and take over your forums now would you?

Of course it won't be automatic after you have installed it. It is easy for people to figure out (especially people that know the vBulletin structure) that they should go to domain.com/install/install.php.
