Error when trying to enter CP - new install

I get the following error after a fresh install of 2.0.1. This error occurs when I try to enter the CP (or on the forum homepage)

Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at ./admin/config.php:38) in ./admin/functions.php on line 1183 

Sorry if this question has been asked before... I did a *quick* search but did not find anything...

only a million or so times...

open your config.php and delete any blank spaces after '?>'

Same problem. Edited my config.php to make sure there were no spaces and still get the error.

I am now getting it intermittently. It comes up about once every three times on the main page. It is also coming up on the admin login and will not let me in no matter how many times I try.
