The time on my forum is wrong how do i change it ??

Go to Admin CP > Options > and set the time offset based on how many hours your server is different from GMT. Then go into your User CP > Edit Options and set the time offset based on how many hours you are different from GMT. -
What i meant was iam the admin of the board and time on the board is wrong.. and the gmt offset is correctComment

You mean you need to change the clock from Linux? If so, log in as "root" and type in 'date -s "21-Jun-2001 17:11:00" ; hwclock --systohc' and that will change the system time.Comment

The server according to the admin is set to Singapore Time....i.e GMT +8, thus I set the board time to be GMT +8.Originally posted by tubedogg

But after that when I set under profile, my time offset as GMT+8 too, the time display actually display +12 hours more..
So lets said its now 8.01 am 22 June 2001, the board display 8.01 PM 22 June 2001....
I had to set to GMT + 4 to be correct timing....
Is this the only work around to be done?

I have maybe the same problem...
I've set GMT+1 in the Administration-Menue ...
I edited my Profile (Edit Options) ... and set GMT+1, too.
That works fine ....
But if I logout from the board .... the Board runs under GMT ...
but it must be ...Alle Zeitangaben in WEZ. Es ist 13:10 Uhr.
Every unregistered user see a difference of 1 hour ....Alle Zeitangaben in WEZ +1 hours. Es ist 14:11 Uhr.
