Installation Problems

For the last few hours or so me and a friend have mulled over, puzzled over and quite frankly become quite confused in trying to install vbulletin 2.3.5, is it normal to be so confused over trying to install vb?

We think we have followed the php.config instructions correctly but when it comes to the admin.cp section we are at a loss as to what this means and where to find it, various attempts to upload the files have been fruitless, any advice or help would be much appreciated!

Not sure I understand. What have you done so far and what is the specific problem you are having?

Also why are you installing 2.3.5 which is not supported any have security issues and bugs?
