bogus registrations

My private site has been getting a ton of bogus registrations, lately. Is there some way to curtail this? captcha script?

You'll need to upgrade to vB 3.6.0 to get the captcha and latest features.

No, not at all.

All posts will be converted during the upgrade process.

One final question:

My web host told me that captcha doesn't always do the trick, in terms of bogus registrations. Is there anything else I could use to try and prevent them?

There's always going to be some loser with nothing else better to do signing up with weird names - just keep a vigilant eye out

The captcha in 3.6.0 works great!
