How do i Delete Messages and keep messages counters

Hello,
I've been running my forum for 4 years now, and have over 15M messages.
i'm intrested in cleaning up my forum and deleting most messages.
my question is how do i delete messages but not zero-ing messages counters ( mostly user counters ) so not everyone become newbies again.

This is not an option, if you have 5 apples and remove one, you have 4 left. The counter will display 4. A modification is required to the source code to not deduct a count when a post is deleted. Perhaps this has already been done by another customer on vbulletin.org
