Apologies: I didn't notice that this was in vB 2 section.

Is there a way to limit access to specific BBCodes?
I've been looking but I can't find it.

I'm also trying to figure out how to get bbcodes working in CMS. This iframe idea is what started the search.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Okay, I get it. I'll start a new thread on getting back to the "bbcode manager" page. Thanks.

Quote a post of yours? Check the bbcode page for all bbcodes? Why is it dangerous, a user can link to ANYTHING on the entire internet, including pages that have dangerous malicious code.

Why is it so dangerous? I didn't name my bbcode "iframe" by the way.
How would anyone know I had that bbcode? Would it appear if they looked at the source code of a page using it? Just wondering.

Should I start a new thread to ask how to regain access to my "bbcode Manager" page?

This is funny. Sort of. I tried to create a bbcode to do this but it didn't work.

And now when I click on the "Manage bbcode" menu item it loads the page and then immediately takes me to the YouTube.com home page!

Almost hysterical...anyone know how to get it from automatically testing this bbcode?

I'd like the bbcode for inserting a YouTube iframe into vBulletin 4.
Why not use the built-in video code? Because I don't want to see recommended videos at the end of the videos.
Never know what will show up!

Here's some sample code from a YouTube video:
    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/nnBbf8FG5Hw?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
    Thanks,
    Richard

There may be security risks but what choice do we have?

Using BB code sucks in many respects! Some people need more than just a bit of text in an article, so java scripts, embedded codes, etc are needed and so far I am unable to do any of this in BB (I know I am a noob)
I tried the EZpages mod, but that does not help what I want to do! In Joomla you have a JUMI plug in where you can add basically any html or php code you like and IT WORKS!!

With the iframe, how do we set the no border tag and the align tag in the Vb code replacement?
I added them next to the width and height but they do not work!

Do you know if there are any security risks to doing this? I do not want to enable HTML but would like to have the ability for a pre-specified iframe for some posts.

    Thank you.
