Anyway you can make an avatar link to a larger image?

You could store the larger images in a directory and name them after the userid.

So you would have 1.gif, 2.gif and so forth.

Then in your postbit_avatar template you can change it to link like:

<a href="/images/bigpics/$post[userid].gif" title="Click to see a larger image" target ="_new"><img src="$avatarurl" border="0" alt=""></a>

i have done this as well but instead the link from the avatar image leads tothe changed avatar url to make it more convenient for members to change avatars
