attachment table in vbulletin database. Help!

Within phpmyadmin I clicked "Empty" for the attachment folder because I thought it was simply file uploads that I was deleting and I wanted to save space. Now my forum is completely down. What can I do to fix this? Is there any basic filler records that I can input into this table, or can I do anything else to correct this problem? When running the forum you now get:

    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:
Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS posts FROM post
    mysql error:
    mysql error number: 0
Date: Wednesday 12th of May 2004 09:35:17 PM

MySQL error 0 means mysql is down or away i believe.

However it seems your forums are online right now..

Do you happen to have a backup before you did this to the database?

I typed REPAIR TABLE post; and it fixedthe problem go figure. I have nightly tape backups of the server. I learned NEVER to mess with the databases again. :-)
