ARGH! I had created a new group and had forgotten to click the button to prevent access to the control panel. When I went back, I guess I wasn't paying attention and I accidentally clicked and saved it on the "admin" group. Now I am locked out of my own board! How can I regain acces to my control panel?

I forgot to mention that I am running version 2.3.0 and I had turned the board off cause I was working on it. I did a search but can't find any threads with a solution to this particular problem. -
you could go into the sql database and change your user group value to the admin group again.
thats if you have access, as the admin i take it you do

Thanks, but it didn't work. You see, I checked off the part where it says NOT to allow control panel acces in the Admin group. So anyone in the Admin group cannot access the control panel. Is there a way to go in and change that option to allow control panel access?Comment

I created a new social-group, then transferred ownership to another member. However, I assumed that the forum admin would always have Admin access to modify the group settings if necessary.
