    Upgrade question

I'm currently running version 2.3.2 and wish to upgrade to 2.3.4

I'm concerned about losing any settings I may have. I don't have any hacks installed, but I did edit these templates:

    Footer
    Header
    Headinclude
    Forumhome
    Forumdisplay

And under styles I have changed quite a few color, border width & text area width.

My question is, how much of this will I lose if I upgrade, if any? If the answer is all of it, what is the best way to recover? Should I just copy and past the code for the templates and write down my color settings?

Sorry if this is stupid, I just don't want any surprises after I upgrade!

    Thanks,

    -Jim

    Almost forgot!

I also added a whole bunch of new smilies and had replaced the standard buttons that come with the board.

Upgrading to 2.3.4 you might need to rever the headinclude, at the bare mininum.

You wont lose much if anything . but you should always backup

        Thanks, Zachery!

I do run backups almost daily, so I'll never fully lose out. Can I ask another stupid question?

Is it advantageous for me to even go to 2.3.4 at this point, or would I be ok if I just wait for the final version 3 release?

I've had pretty much no problems to report. I was only thinking of upgrading as purely a proactive move.

        Thanks,

        -Jim

Id revert and upgrade to three, this is a personal opinion.
