How do all..
Apparently My provider says we have way too many connections open on the MySQL server at once and that some never get closed and just hang.. So they shut our website down..
I am not sure of our exact daily hit count but we usually have 50-60 users on average connected and doing something..
They say no application should need to use more than 90 connections(which is the current setting for mysql), Unfortunately this is a MySql shared box..
Should we be using the mysql_pconnect or mysql_connect? If using mysql_connect do we need a close connection statement somewhere..
Any help or suggestions would be appretiated.. I am at a loss.. :(
