Hiya.
I, as the admin of my board, would like to also make myself moderator of a handful of the individual forums. Yes, I realize this isn't granting me any extra permissions, as I'm already god-moded...I simply want my name in the Moderator column on the front page, so people know who's running most of the show. It's a matter of aesthetics, mostly—I want every forum to show that it is moderated.
When I add myself as moderator of X forum, my status is changed to Automatically-Generated Moderator. I haven't noticed any changes in permissions except for the fact that if I edit a post, it shows the Edited By message, even though this is switched off for the admin in the Options panel. How can I make myself, the sole admin, a moderator of a certain section without invoking the Automatically-Generated Moderator stuff? Is it possible?
