WYSIWYG Editor Back Online (was Temporarily Unavailable)

We are currently integrating the new WYSIWYG editor into vBulletin 3, and as a result we will need to disable the use of the WYSIWYG editor for the time being, until the integration is complete.

Normal service will be restored soon!

We are now in the final stages of integrating the new editor, and as a result we must also disable the standard button toolbar for the time being.

Both versions will be back soon!

The standard editor is now available again (although you will not see any changes in it yet)

The new WYSIWYG editor is now online here.

The first time you load it may take a while as it has to download new scripts etc., but after that you should find that it will load much faster than the old version.

Users of Mozilla >= 1.3 or Mozilla Firebird >= 0.6.1 will now be able to use the WYSIWYG editor, in addition to those using Internet Explorer >= 5.5.

There are some bugs in the Mozilla implementation of the WYSIWYG function that are beyond our control (ie: they are bugs in the browser itself). One of the most obvious of these is the fact that the new 'Clear Formatting' button is rather useless in Mozilla. We hope that the Mozilla developers will fix this problem soon, but for the time being, don't report the problem to us, we know all about it!
