    Misleading Website - beware!

The following website has been set up by someone apparentely to harvest vBulletin customer number and passwords:

THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL SITE! We are in no way affiliated with them, and you enter your username and password there at your own risk. Beware! We recommend that you do not give out your customer number and password to anyone. If you have given out your customer number or password, please contact us at [email protected] and we will give you a new one.

Looks like this, unfortunately, is a new trend. There is an AIM user with the screen name "TeamVbulletin" trying to get people to enter their customer number and password on this website: http://vbulletin-upgrade.vze.com/

Again, please never give your customer password out to anyone, and if you do, you can request a new password to be generated by emailing us at [email protected]

If you are contacted by this, or any, AOL/AIM user asking for your password and/or impersonating a vBulletin employee, I would encourage you to report this to the AOL abuse team using this form: http://www.aol.com/info/feedback.html

    Thanks.
