Intermittent Problems with Members Area Downloads

This is to let everyone know that some customers are having problems downloading vB fromt he members area. We do have people looking into this, but because this only happens with some customers and not others, this is difficult to troubleshoot.

If you do experience this problem, please try switching to a different browser. Also make sure you do not have a firewall or download manager running, since those can sometimes interfere with downloads.

If you still have this problem after that, please fill out a support ticket with all the relevant details:

We are sorry for an inconvenience and are working hard to understand and fix this problem.

Update: So far each of the customers that have had this problem were using IE. Switching to another browser fixed this. Obviously though there is still an issue on our end which the server guys are still trying to understand.

      I just wanted to update.
We believe we have fixed the issue, we believe the cause of the issue was a new TCP accelerator that was added to our network late last week which caused these intermittent issues.
Our testing here indicates that we have been able to successfully resolve the issue for the mean time by removing the TCP accelerator from our network (it may be added later once further diagnosis uncovers what the conflict with the accelerator and our members area is).

If you were having issues downloading our software, we would encourage you to re-try it now.
If issues persist, please open a support ticket, and we will work with our network admin folks to further diagnose.
Thanks for your patience, and our apologies for any inconvenience it may have caused.
