I am just writing this quick note to all vBulletin administrators and sysadmins that use these forums. The only people who you should trust with your server login details are people who are employed by Jelsoft, that is, anyone with an @vbulletin.com email address. Anyone else you choose to share your login details with, you do so at your own risk, and Jelsoft can take no responsibility for the consequences of such actions.
I am not saying that you should not allow other people to log in to your server, but do just stop and think about the issues involved with letting a stranger log into your server and giving them access to all your data.
Also, please never divulge your vBulletin Customer Number and Password to anyone, unless they have a valid @vbulletin.com email address.
I hope that most of this advice is common sense!
Thanks,
John
