I am proud to announce that on this Monday, 21st May 2001, we will be releasing vBulletin 2.0.0 into the members area as our leading supported product. Congratulations to tubedogg on spotting that the new stable version of the software was running on these forums - you beat my estimate by 40 minutes!
If will have been 3 months, 8 days and 18 hours in beta, so we are convinced that we have eliminated all major bugs from the software, and that it *will* run seamlessly on as many servers as possible. Many, many boards are now running this software in production environments, and they have been very happy with the results.
On Monday, we will also be releasing new documentation and web site features, as well as the new import scripts for UBB (versions 5 and 6) and vB Lite.
Anyway, the important information. At 1800 BST (GMT +1 hour) on Monday we will activate the new software in the members area! So set your alarms clocks if you're not going to be awake, otherwise, make sure you're here to get your copy! And don't forget to invite your friends and family - spread the word, vBulletin is going gold!
