    You should not edit that phrase unless you have purchased branding free.

    If you want to add your own copyright text, you can do so under Settings -> Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details. You can use HTML in the option field for the copyright text.

    But I don't want to alter vBulletin Brand (i.e. Powered by vBulletin..., I just want to edit second line "Copyright".

    As far as i know this is not permitted unless you have purchased the branding free option, an alternative way would be to insert your own copyright notice by going to admincp/settings/site name/url/ contact details then insert the following in the place provided.
