You need to make sure you have a test mirror up and running and fully working before running the upgrade.

If the mirror isn't working, the upgrade won't magically fix everything.

I am not on the mirror anymore, I run the upgrade from the live forum and I get this error

          PHP Code:
          Error upgrading:

An error has occurred with your databasePlease contact vBulletin Support for assistance.

          Module500a2Step 1 Database Error:1054

          Unknown column
          'label' in 'field list'

          Query
          INSERT INTO `widgetdefinition` (`widgetid`, `field`, `name`, `label`, `defaultvalue`, `isusereditable`, `isrequired`, `displayorder`, `validationtype`, `validationmethod`, `data`) VALUES (2'Text''title''Video Title''Video Title'111''''''), (2'Select''provider''Provider''youtube'112'''''a:2:{s:7:"youtube";s:7:"YouTube";s:11:"dailymotion";s:11:"DailyMotion";}'

so I asked my server to revert to my latest backup. Very disappointed about this, I have purchased my forum and can't upgrade.
          How to obtain a reimbursement?

The upgrade works fine. The product works fine. Hundreds of sites are upgraded every month. If there was a bug with the system we would have multiple reports of it.

There is an issue with your set up, but you are not allowing us to help you because you are jumping in and doing stuff we haven't asked you to.

Like I've said, an upgrade doesn't magically fix anything. If the upgrade didn't work on your test mirror, deciding to run it on the live site is frankly incomprehensible.

If you want us to assist you will need to do the following:

            1. Restore your live site to vB4
            2. Create a test mirror of the live site, running on its own database.
            3. Verify this is working and provide us with the link to it so we can see it is working
