Hello,
we had a running instance of vBulletin version "5.1.6 Patch Level 1" (/index.php states this version in his header comment).
Yesterday some components of our managed server got an update.
Apache 2 -> 4
MySql 5.1 -> 5.5
Well now vBulletin does not work anymore.
After enabling the debug output:
/config.php: $config['debug'] = true;
/includes/config.php: $config['Misc']['debug'] = true;
The following error appears after a delay of ~1 Minute:
Error :A database error occured, please check the database settings in the config file or enable debug mode for additional information. on line 1121 in /homepages/6/d302015426/htdocs/forum.treesoft.de/core/vb/database.php
We had set the PHP-Version to the following using .htaccess (Our hoster supports this):
AddType x-mapp-php5.4 .php
AddHandler x-mapp-php5.4 .php
Visiting /vb_test.php states the result in image 1.
Due to the result of this test script i assume that the database connection could be established successfully.
The dbtype is set to "mysql". Anyway using "mysqli" does not change anything.
Does anyone has some hints?
