Copying posts or backing up settings

    Hi,

We're just in the process of setting up a new version of our site in vB5.2.6 our old site is 4.2.2. While we're getting all the styles and customisations sorted, we've kept our old site up and running.

When we're ready to go live with the new release, is there a method to easily import posts/new members that have happened since we started the setup?

Failing that is there a way to easily backup our templates, styles and other customisations and run them onto the new update?

(is it clear what I am asking?)

    Thanks
    Roger

No, sorry, there's no way to do this.

The database structures for vB4 and vB5 are completely different. They are not compatible with each other.
