    Fatal Error Occurred Error on \core\vb\library\node.php : 808 Script: 500a1 Step: 142

During upgrade from 4.2.3 to 5.2.0 I receive the following error.
    Fatal Error Occurred
    Error on \core\vb\library\node.php : 808

    Script: 500a1
    Step: 142

    Any help would be appreciated.

Read through some other threads and set my database to UTF8 encoding. Seems to have fixed the problem. Does anyone know the cause of this issue?
