    cant add sitemap as a .XML as hsowing as php file

    hi i got vb5 cant seem to add sitemap in .xml format as its been activated in back end of forum and it give you a link to where sitemap is click on it and it ask you to download file of sitemap in php format though which for google web master is no good can you help in telling us how to make sitemap like the normal one like domain.co.uk/forum/sitemap.xml as google dont accept any other format or says there is error

    need to know how so can ask web developer to implement thanks for reading

      You need to submit the URL give on the admincp > XML Sitemap > Rebuild Sitemap, then click the link where it says "The sitemap will be accessed by search engines via this URL." That link is the one you submit to google and it is an .xml link.
