    Patch level and Security patches?

I logged in to my admin panel this morning and I seen the following :

That there is a new patch level 3 for VB 5.1.4
That there is a new security Patch
and finally that there is a new update to the mobile APP?

I am currently at VB 5.1.4 Patch Level 2.

    How do I proceed?

Do I first upgrade from VB 5.1.4 Patch Level 2 - Level 3
    Then do the security patch
    and finally the mobile app?

or does Patch Level 3 contain all of the above

or is Patch level 3 and fix for the security exploit the same thing?

    Thanks...

    Two separate products, so...

    1. Update vBulletin to 5.1.4 PL 3. That takes care of all current security issues.
    2. Update the mobile suite.

      Sorry for the stupid question...

So I download and install for the members area Patch Level 3 and not the patch for the security fix mentioned here, correct?

It's the same thing. If you are already running 5.1.4 then use the patch files:

If you are running vB5, but a lower version then 5.1.4, then you need to download the full 5.1.4 PL3 package, upload it and run the upgrade script.
