Installation Error 2

Hello everyone.

I used config.php builder for VB5 (v1.1.3) and it worked like a charm.
Unfortunately, I cannot go through setup due to the following error:

Due to the following errors, the install/upgrade can not continue:

• Error description: 2
• The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the includes/config.phpfile

servername: localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock
tried localhost, 127.0.0.1
port: 3316


I'm hosting loads of joomla websites on my server, and all of them work with this configuration. It's the config my server gives me when I create a new MySQL database.
Why can't it connect?

PS: I've used the search, but even though this problem has been mentioned before, they all did mistakes I didn't do. Mainly because they didn't use the config builder.

Your MySQL information in the core config.php file is not correct.
