ever since i installed VB5, the site looks fine, but the admincp doesn't have any styling, just plain test so makes it very difficult to navigate as it doesn't look like it should.

Make sure you added /core at the end of URL in AdminCP > Settings >> Options >> Site Name / URL / Contact Us. without the trailing slash at the end.

You're welcome. Actually if you had the presentation/frontend config file set right, it would have had the /core in that URL. That's what the core_path URL/path is for.To be or not to be... Hi,
I followed the instructions to install vB5. I finished the installation and now when I try and access the forums I get the following:

Hey I just installed manually since the automatic install wouldnt work, and I dont see any styles or designs in the AdminCP. Site is fine. I found out that in the image URLs the domain.com/core is missing... -
Your Common Installation Issues portion of the vBulletin manual suggests that the Site URL setting under Settings -> Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details has /core at the end of it. ...Sun 18 May '14, 5:54pm -
