    Upgrade database error

Trying to upgrade from 4.2 and getting the following error:
    • Upgrading to 5.0.0 Alpha 23
    • Step 1 - Updating user table
    • Updating setting table
    • An error has occurred with your database. Please contact vBulletin Support for assistance.
      Module: 500a23, Step 2 Database Error:1064
      Query:

UPDATE setting SET value = value | WHERE varname = 'defaultregoptions'

    -------------------
    Added 10 minutes later:
After refreshing the page the install picked up where it left, and finished OK.

Did you get any more errors after that?

    Especially this one:

Fatal error: Class 'vBulletinHook' not found
    in /home/asachdeo/public_html/beamin.net/forum.php on line 85

      No, I didn't.
I lost this thread, and started new one here with more details and screen shots: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...Upgrade-issues
If moderator will be so kind to combine these two threads, that would be awesome.

Its a known error which I believe is marked as resolved in the next release. However if you refresh the page it will go past this point.

We prefer each customer open their own thread. And a different thread for each issue.
