    Install error

    Hi there

    I have installed vb5 beta 10 and everything is fine on the main install to the point where is says 'Go To Admin CP'.

    I then get the following message

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/traditio/public_html/vb5/config.php on line 1

    Any ideas as to what I haven't done correctly. I renamed the upload folder to vb5

    Thanks

    Mark

    PS. These are the only lines I have changed in the config file.

    $config['baseurl'] = 'http://www.traditionalfisherman.net/vb5';

    $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://www.traditionalfisherman.net/vb5/core';

    $config['core_path'] = '/home/traditio/public_html/vb5/core';

    Do I take it no one can help me.

    I am going to delete the vb5 folder on my host server and start from scratch.

    Still getting the same error after the re-install.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/traditio/public_html/vb5/config.php on line 1

    Why am I not getting any replies or help from anyone on here, should I be on another Vbulletin forum?

    Mark, make sure you only have this at the top of your config file: <?php
    No spaces before it or under it. That's just a guess on my part, I'm no PHP expert.
    Hope someone with more knowledge on PHP will be along soon.

      An error like 'unexpected $end' means the file isn't fully uploaded in your server. You should check if your file is correctly uploaded in your server.

        Did you forget to rename one of the two config.php files?
