      What is your phpinfo()?

      Just create a file with this in it:

      PHP Code:
      <?php
      phpinfo
      ();
      ?>
      Upload it to your server and load it in a browser window.

            You could be stricken with this bug:

            Not sure why you say the presentation config.php is the "Includes config" though. The Presentation config.php should be in the first directory of your installation. That is the same directory as .htaccess and index.php.

              Maybe that is the issue. I picked ups somewhere that it was supposed to be in the includes folder. Must have got some bad info somewhere. That would make sense that it could not read the config file if it is not where it needs to be. I will check on this tonight.

                The new error indicates the core_path value is incorrect. Frequently people leave off the /core at the end.

                  in includes/core config.php

                  just ensure the database details are setup no path info for VB5 is needed

                  in public_html/config.php or public_html/forum/config.php ensure

                  Code:
                  $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://www.domain.com/core';
                  Code:
                  $config['core_path'] = '/home/username/public_html/domain.com/core';
