    And what is on that line (34) or your config.php file?

    And what do you have entered as the path to your /core in the main config.php file? and as AdminCP > Settings > Options > Site Name/etc > Forum URL?

    Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

        If it's a blank line then check the link before it and make sure you have both apostrophes
        $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://www.mysite.com/vb5demo/includes/vb5/core';

            Open up your main config file it should be located in http://localhost/vb5demo/
            Line 34 I believe is blank, the line above that should look like this.

            $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://www.localhost.com/vb5demo/includes/vb5/core';

            Make sure the ' is present at both sides of the url, I had this issue before and it was due to the missing ' at the end of the url.

                I think this

                // This is the url and web based path to your core directory
                $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://localhost/vb5demo/includes/vb5/core';

                should be this

                // This is the url and web based path to your core directory
                $config['baseurl_core'] = 'http://localhost/vb5demo/core';

                      All looks correct. Are you using IIS or Apache?

                      If you're using Apache try this line:
                      $config['core_path'] = '/server/htdocs/vb5demo/core';

                      Instead of:
                      $config['core_path'] = 'C:\\server\\htdocs\\vb5demo\\core';
