    Can't find htaccess file

    Can't find the htaccess file to get the forum working properly.

    Anybody got a copy for me?

    Not sure if it's because I'm using the Mac. I can normally see them both on the mac and server but can't seem to find one in the file I downloaded from members area.

    The file is included in the download pachage... Sometimes these files are hidden under MAC, see if you can change your settings to show hidden files.
    To be or not to be... Where the hell is the question????
    My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too

      Normally my FTP program shows them but not this time. And I've uploaded the whole folder to the server, and the server isn't showing it either.

      Tried changing the settings for the folder on the mac to show them but can't seem to find where that option would be.

        I don't use Mac, so nothing I can suggest at this point.

            it is in the upload directory...

            Code:
            <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
            RewriteEngine On
            RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
            RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
            RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?routestring=$1 [L,QSA]

            #needed because admincp is an actual directory.
            RewriteRule ^(admincp/)$ index.php?routestring=$1 [L,QSA]
            </IfModule>

                  Some FTP programs need a command sometimes like -a for ws_ftp in order to show hidden files (.-files).

                    As OSX is based on Unix, .htaccess file is a hidden file. To see it, you need to turn on display hidden files in Finder or use a FTP software who can show directly hidden files.
