    Day One with vBulletin, 5.1.1 Installation Blues

    I seem to have installed, done all correctly. Following installation when we open example.com/admincp it opens like as shown in picture

    Plus the home looks like second picture.

    I am not able to figure out the error. Server also pass the test.php

    But interestingly /core/admincp is opening

    You did not upload the .htaccess file included with the system. If you're using a Mac that hides this file in the finder, then rename the htaccess.txt file on your server to .htaccess . Do not rename it on your Mac or you will lose it.

    If you're using Microsoft IIS as your webserver, you must also install their URL Rewrite module from the IIS website.

      .htaccess is very much in place. I am on ubuntu. Rewrite module enabled.

        Your first two images use mod_rewrite to operate properly. Your last image does not. Type in yoururl/forumpath/css.php

        Do you get a 404 error? If so, you need to contact your hosting provider and ask why rewrites are not working on your site.

          I have attempted on VPS at Digital Ocean, creating LAMP on raw Ubuntu. Tried all. Any lead.
