Status: Processing XML, Step 6 of 14 error

I installed yesterday a 5.0.5 version on a subdomain, but I found out that it will still be forum.sitename.com/forum, so I do not liked this.

Now I am trying to install it directly on sitename.com. First I got an error on Step 2. I remove the database and user, created new ones and get rid of this error.

Now, the installation get stuck on:
Status: Processing XML, Step 6 of 14

Can anybody tell me what to do?

Are you doing a fresh install or an upgrade?

Did you delete all "old" files in your directory before you uploaded the vB 5.0.5 files and started the installation?

Did you edit the config files correctly?

Are you using a clean database for your installation or are you trying to let the vB 5 setup create all data in an already existing database?

- fresh install
- deleted all the files
- yes, I pass over the connection step
- first I tried with the old database but got an error on step 2. I created a new one and passed over that error and got new one
