Upgrade from 4.2.2 to 5.0.5 problems

We have converted from 4.2.2 to 5.0.5 and have encountered a problem with posts in that we have alot that are missing content and the moderation box on the forum list is missing on the posts with no content.
Looking for advice what to look for and what to do.
    Thanks for your help.
    Kevin.

I don't completely understand, can you show us a screen shot of the problem?

Do you have a backup of your database from before you upgraded to 5.0.5?

          Yes.
          35mb in size.
Have also tried making a blank database then import the backup into it then fresh install of 5.0.5 and upgrade the new database but same results have tried the same with 5.1.0 alpha and get the same problem.
We still have a good working forum on 4.2.2

          thanks,
          Kevin.

This is what we get with a clean install of 5.1.0 Alpha 7
these threads seem to be deleted during the upgrade to any version 5.

Guess we are the only ones with this problem due to the lack of responses.

I just did a 4.2.2 upgrade to 5.0.5A7 and I'm not sure what you are trying to show. I did notice that polls don't upgrade correctly and I entered a Jira here - http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-11919

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
