    Activity Stream

Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to get the VB4 Activity Stream in VB5 or is it's replacement the Latest Activity tab in the Activity Stream Module (Site Builder)? Just looking for the best way members can easily call up what's been going on whilst they were away.

Latest Activity is the Activity Stream. It is available on the default home page and in every Forum, Blog (called Blog Posts), and Group Channel. You can make it the default tab by editing the options of the module of the page you want to change. You can also re-arrange the tabs (or turn them off) if you wish in the Module Options.

Is there any way to have a link to it on the sub nav like in VB4?

At this time, you would have to create a custom page with the Activity Stream module on it and then make that tab the default.

I guess you would then hit duplicate content issues with the search engines though?

Why? It is a search result and should be excluded from search indexing.

I just added a link to the relevant search string into the navbar, on my demo site:

The resulting URL is a bit ugly, though no worse than Today's Posts / New Posts.

The JSON in the URL is definitely not going to win any awards but it serves its intended purpose.

                    Cool, thanks Mark.B
Would there also be a way to display topics along with the latest reply to them?
