    Sorting CMS Articles

Is there really no way to sort CMS Articles on VB5 like you could on VB4 in the Admin CP? The ordering boxes are there in the Admin CP but they don't seem to have any effect on the front end.

The only way I found to do it so far is by editing all the Published On dates which is a real pain.

There is currently no way to sort the articles with a display order.

Would anyone know which field in which table is being used to source the Published Date? I'm guessing the Articles are being sorted in the code somewhere by a particular set of Unix Time Stamps?

Publishdate and unpublishdate are fields in the node table. It isn't recommended to change values in the database. The node table contains all the meta information for all channels and content on your site.
