    Thumbnails loose for articles

    Hello Everybody,

Here is my problem that suddenly appeared.

I have been creating articles with the "link" option for a few weeks now.

The link images have been recovered normally but since this afternoon, the images are no longer displayed (see arrows).

In the red box, firefox informs me that the images cannot be loaded.

I tried to create a new article with an existing link, the image is well recovered but when I publish the article, the image also disappears.

If you have any ideas? I would be grateful.

    Best Regards.

Looking at your site, the server is returning a 403 error on those image links. You will need to ask your hosting provider why they have forbidden the filedata URL from working. That URL is how attachments are retrieved from the system to be shown.

How do you know it's a 403 error? (just out of curiosity so I can explain it to my provider)

      Regards.

I opened your page and looked at the results using the Developer Tools in Google Chrome. You can open Developer Tools by pressing F12.

You hosting provider should have access to the HTTPD access logs and each of the 403 errors will be listed within them.

The images do not load for me on Chrome. Not sure why they work for you on Firefox.

              Hello Luke,

here is the proof that in my case, chrome displays the images unlike firefox.

              Regards.

But your screenshot isn't showing all the images even in Chrome. In the middle column of your image in post 1, there is a block of images above the lastest discussions module. In the second screenshot, these images are all missing.

Seems like you have an intermittent problem. Did you check with your hosting provider and ask why the server would return a 403 error when requesting these attachments?

                  Hello Luke,

yes then the image block in the middle column, it is an error in javascript slick. For the moment, I can't fix the error which is a variable issue between php and javascript.

I contacted my host and he modified variables on the server and everything went back to normal.

Only chrome displayed the images in the right column. Yesterday, Edge posted them too, but this morning, Edge no longer posted them.

There is still the error message to modify an article as I published it in the other post.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the developers for correcting the length of the results returned in the html pages during a search.

                  Regards.
