friends, please: for anyone who already uses version 5, is there any way to get back to version 4 or 3? I use version 551.

    thank you!

Only if you have a full and complete backup of both the database and the files. There is no script to revert to a previous version.

You would restore the backed up database and files.

Obviously all posts, members and other content made after the backup was taken will be lost.

          Thank you Mark!

Sorry, but it was not clear to me. I'm going to rephrase my question.
if I back up my forum in VB5 now, can I roll back that backup to version 4, for example? I do not want to have losses. I want to revert to version 5 that I have today for an earlier version (VB4 or VB3).
is it possible? how to make?

if it is not possible, no problems.

No. There is way to 'downgrade' vBulletin. You would have to restore a backup and that means you lose all content and members that were created after the backup was taken.

vBulletin 5 has completely different database structures to vBulletin 3 and vBulletin 4.

well maybe you could find a way to migrate to another forum system and come back to VB4 using the converter, but this would most probably be a mess and at least the SEO impact should be terrible.

Far better is to let us know the issues being experienced in vB5 to see if we can help.

                    Thanks for the collaboration!

plongeur.com, at first I am trying to exhaust the solutions with VB5.
but migrating to another system and maybe returning later is a real possibility! I like VB. I migrated in version 3 from phpBB. I used version 4.
but in version 5 I have been facing many difficulties.

Mark, I understand what you mean and thanks for the help!. I have posted all the problems/doubts and I still have more to post.

                    thank you friends!
