• Link to Channel?

    Hello,

This is what I am using to link directly to forums:

Since the forums before the upgrade has an old id. How do I do this using the channel ID? I tried the channel ID and that did not work. Cannot use actual path because the forums get moved around a lot and would constantly break the link.

    Thanks,

    Viper

Try "/node/%nodeid%". You can see the Node ID within the Channel Manager in the AdminCP.

      Thanks, that worked.

Curious, for these type of changes, where can I find this info?

Normally the software will automatically redirect unless you continually move channels around. The node path is a workaround.

That is exactly what we do. We move stuff around all the time.
