Last forum activity is not shown

    Some problem I have.

When I create new topic on forum - everything is OK. But when I make a post in an old topic - it isn't shown in "Last activity" of forum (neither message nor topic).
How to make "Last activity" show all the changes in all the topics regardless of the time of topic creation?

The last topic module is cached and will update every few minutes. The view of this module can be different for every usergroup on your site. Rewriting the search modules on every page load will cause performance issues on your site.

That's not the reason. Time passes, cache clears and nothing changes.

The view of this module can be different for every usergroup on your site.
What are you saying? I can't see every topic changes as admin with all permissions?

Again: new post in new topic is shown,
new post in old topic isn't shown (zero activity in "last activity")

What are the settings for your Latest Activity Module?

It's sub-tab of "Activity Stream Module" with default settings (as I remember).

          "Show to All usergroups"...

That option isn't relevant to what your issue is.

What determines the contents of the Latest Activity tab of the Activity Stream module are the permissions as listed in the AdminCP under Channel Management -> Channel Permissions.

In the module configuration what is the date range for this tab?

It is called Last Activity Date Range.
                  It's "Last Month".
Are you saying it's not affected by the time of my post but somehow affected by the time of topic creation??

I have questions for Last Activity: why link move to first post of topic?
I think you need to go to the last page to the last post.

I think I know what is going on here. Edit the Module and find the option "Show Stream View New Topics". Set this to No. It will then show replies on the list as well as new topics. I recommend setting the Date Range for Latest Activity to 30 days. If you set it to all time, it can have reduce performance of your site as your site continues to grow.

The link issue would be considered an Improvement Request and can be filed for developer review here: https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulletin5

I set it to "no", made a post in old topic and still nothing changes

It isn't showing replies as well as New Topics? That is the only way it will show old topics in the list. That option tells it to only show New Topics.

Not sure why it isn't working on your site. After changing the option, you saved the module and saved the page?
