Upgrading php is something your host would handle. We can't really provide any support for that.

Latest versions of vBulletin 5 are already compatible with php 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3. You don’t need to change any vBulletin code. If you have third party add-ons you should ask the author(s) for advice.

              are you guessing about
              third party add-ons or what?
              delete all
third party add-ons still get the same error,so where we go from here?

this is the error nothing to do with
              third party add-ons

I gave you the solution to this issue over a week ago.

To remove the "ERROR" you need to edit your php.ini file and change this line:

                display_errors 1

                To

                display_errors 0

This is a server configuration file that exists on every server running PHP. If you do not have access to this file, then you must have your hosting provider to make this change for you.

Please see post #25 that shows how you can determine where your php.ini file is located.

                    https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...92#post4408492

According to the image you posted in post #28, your php.ini is in /opt/php7,3/lib/php.ini. I stated this in post #27.
