vB-5.5.x: Admin / Userfields: add an index to fieldX?

    Hello,

I need to add a property to the user data. That would just fit perfectly using the extra user fields feature, which are stored in table userfield.

But since I want to search for a user using that property, I need an index on the column created for that property (e.g. field8).

Is there a way to get that index being added automatically or do I need to add it manually using e.g. phpMyAdmin?

    Thanks a lot.

    Stefan

If you need an index it would need adding manually. However this isn't something we can provide official support for. https://vbmods.rocks is useful if you need further assistance with custom code.

As stated, this is outside the scope of support. Especially with a field that many sites may not even have in their database.
