Word Censor

I know how to censor certain words from showing in the Admin CP,, options---censorship. I am having trouble censoring two words with a space

Example .. Say I want to censor John Doe

How can that be done if it's typed as shown without censoring each word individually? Another words if John was typed I would want that to show up without being censored.

If my memory serves me well you put the the two word inside curly brackets {censored word}

That's it. And then you have to rebuild the post cache.

So I put two words in curly braces with a space and it does not work. I rebuilt the post cache

Or maybe it's not supposed to work with two words? It does work with single words

You cannot censor phrases. Every space is considered a word break and you will end up with each word censored. You can only censor words.

The idea has merit so I created an Improvement Request. I don't know how difficult it would be to implement. The censorship code process hasn't been updated in a decade.
