    Admin/Mod cannot remove links.

Please mark as a Bug/Issue if appropriate...

Is anyone else experiencing an issue when attempting to remove a link as an admin/mod that was posted by a forum member? When attempting to remove a link (actual link for this example doesn't matter), there was no way to remove the option altogether. When attempting to save the post, vB demands a valid link. I cannot find a way around this, or any way to disable the option, when simply wanting to delete the link from the user's post.

Please create a tracker as needed. I've given up creating trackers, as they just get ignored.

    Thanks!

Last I knew you had to delete the entire post, not just the link. I'm almost positive there's already an issue in the tracker for this.

You must have a link when you have the link content type. This is not a bug.

Thanks for the response. I did just delete the entire post and ask the member to re-post. I searched the tracker, but saw nothing. I'll look again. Thank you.

Can this not be disabled during edit by a admin or mod?

No. You need to delete the topic/post.

What component should I select for this improvement request?

There is already a JIRA for this - https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...sues/VBV-17732

You would have to convert the post to the "Text" content type. Likewise, you can't create Photo Gallery Post without adding photos. At this time if you don't want people to post Link posts, you should remove the permission to do so under Channel Management -> Channel Permissions.

Thank you. I was sure there was a JIRA for this but couldn't find it.
