You don't have permission to access

    Hello Support Team

My forum folder permission had gone to 0000 and now
    Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /vb5/ on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What is it you're trying to access within that folder? It says its contents total 4kb, which is probably an index file and nothing else.

There is a folder within the /core directory with the same name. That folder contains another folder and twenty PHP files. Its contents far exceed 4kb.

Folder permissions is something you would be better contacting your host about. vBulletin itself doesn't control these.

Well the host DOES have a problem, since it's a server permissions error.
Tell them they need to solve it, or find a competent host.

vBulletin does not control this, it is for your host to resolve.

In addition to the issue about file permissions, you're missing just about the entire vBulletin system. vBulletin is a large system. A default install is about 42 Megabytes
