User cannot post (Post Reply not functioning)

I have one user experiencing issues. There is no input field at the end of the screen, and "post reply" -button does nothing.

There are other users in the same usergroup who can post without problem. I have checked all permissions I can find and everything seems to be ok.

We are on vBulletin 5.4.3 with the configurations as shown in the attachment. We have no mods installed,

Is the screenshot from you logging in as the user or was it submitted by the user? From the screenshot, it appears they are blocking the use of Javascript through a Browser extenstion. They must allow Javascript in order to use the Editor.

Thanks for the reply, Wayne. This was a screenshot from the user. I will check with him regarding Javascript blocking.

P.S. He can post PMs normally. Not sure if that is relevant?

          Information from the affected user:
          1) I've tried this with 6 different browsers on 3 different OS's.

          2) There is no Javascript blocking on 5/6 of these browsers.

          3) We tried my wife's account on the same browser, and she had no such problems.
His wife is in a different usergroup.

Please let me know what else I could try to solve this. Thanks.

This issues persists. Should I maybe open a support ticket on this? Or is there something else I could/should try here?

Something's being blocked there. Could be a browser extension of some sort.

Put simply, when it's one user, and nobody else is affected, it's usually something on their machine, as vBulletin doesn't have the ability to present problems to just one single user.

However...I would be asking the user for their login credentials to see if you can log in and see the same issue.

Thanks, Mark. As noted, though, his wife (in a different usergroup) can login and post normally from the same computer. So it is unlikely to be the browser, I think?

You have to compare the two usergroups and make sure their posting permissions are the same. If they are the same, then it is something external.

One thing about Browser extensions these days - They follow you from computer to computer. So husband and wife can be using different browser extensions on the same computer.

Thanks, Wayne. I had checked all permissions and, with the exception of some private forum sections, they are identical. I'll try and solve this one with the user in question.
