    vBulletin Upgrade Current Status

    Hello

I purchased vBulletin Upgrade since September 24, 2018. Now, it's been 1 month. Without any sign of upgrading. You assigned someone to look after that and the guy stopped keeping me updated since 15th Oct 2018, 5 pm. I open tickets and contact you via Facebook and email with no answer.

    What should I do?

Have you tried opening a new ticket? Maybe the old one got closed/lost by mistake. I'm pretty sure there is a phone number too you can call. Hopefully you get this sorted soon mate.

As this is an upgrade on a site that uses arabic it is a longer and more involved process and time needs to be scheduled in to create a copy of the live site in order to test the upgrade first.

We hope to have an update this week.

        Hey Mark,

That's all what I needed, a response to keep me updated.

          Hey Sean,

Can you provide me with the phone number? Every time I open a ticket, it deletes.

It's 2019 now. Happy New Year. And I am still waiting for my forum to be upgraded by Mark

          Regards

It seems your upgrade ticket is still awaiting an affirmative response stating that you have enabled SSH access on the server. This is not something we will do for you. All the non-relevant posts in the ticket have only worked to delay the process. Each time you reply, it sends your ticket to the bottom of the queue.

              Hey

What you're mentioning was an old ticket. And I replied in regarding it on: 15th Oct 2018 06:03pm.

I attached a screenshot, shows Mark last reply to me.

And what you are mentioning "The non-relevant posts" is only a way to remind you guys to keep me update about the upgrading status of my forum. And I'll keep sending a post every week until someone answers me.

              Regards

Can only review the ticket attached to your installation. If you opened multiple tickets, that can cause things to get lost in the system.

                  Hey

                  Hoe everyone is doing good.

It's March! And I didn't receive any updates about upgrading my VB.

As far as I can see the status is still awaiting you to enable SSH and provide login information for such.

                        SSH password
                        SSH Port

Before upgrading, if you have issues with Arabic encoding it is a MUST to fix first on the old database, before you go into the world of vBulletin 5 it is a real night mare and disaster

                            Hey Blackhorse,

Glad to see your replies. Yes, I did all of this. But waiting for Mark to take the next step.
